Listeners can expect appearances from US rappers Travis Scott and Future as well as the in-vogue K-pop group Stray Kids -- along with a rather less modish nod to '80s stalwart Phil Collins.

"We are bringing different universes together, we are trying to have fun," the artist, known for hit tracks "Taki Taki" and "Loco Contigo", said during a livestream on Instagram Wednesday.

"Everything is about energy, love and respect for different cultures," said DJ Snake -- who has racked up more than 40 billion streams -- while onboard a van blasting excerpts of his third album as it trundled around Paris.

"Nomad" comes three years after the release of the 39-year-old DJ and music producer's previous album "Carte Blanche".

He had already tantalised listeners with a taster of the upcoming release during an event at the Eiffel Tower in early October.

And he plans to reveal the rest at Bourget airport, northern Paris, on Thursday evening.

DJ Snake said he wanted the 17-track album to tie together various music genres and his signature electro style.

The DJ has also teased another track: "Cairo Express", which was recorded in Egypt and follows his 2022 song "Disco Maghreb", which pays homage to his mother's Algerian roots.

Other songs are available to listeners already, such as "Paradise", a nod to "In The Air Tonight" singer Collins's "Another Day in Paradise", in collaboration with British artist Bipolar Sunshine.

DJ Snake has a reputation for his killer performances and managed to fill both the Stade de France stadium and the Accor Arena in Paris on the same evening this year.

He considers that day his "holy grail", he told AFP when his wax figure was inaugurated at the Grevin Museum in Paris in May.
