Sixteen countries are competing in the Eurovision Song Contest's second semifinal on Thursday, with viewers deciding which 10 go through to the grand final.

Saturday's showpiece event takes place at the St Jakobshalle in the Swiss city of Basel.

Ten countries have already qualified from Tuesday's first semifinal.

The so-called "Big Five" -- Eurovision's main financial backers Britain, France, Germany, Italy and Spain -- have a guaranteed spot in the 26-country final, alongside hosts Switzerland.

Here are the 16 acts contesting Thursday's second semifinal:

-- Austria: JJ, "Wasted Love"

-- Czech Republic: Adonxs, "Kiss Kiss Goodbye"

-- Denmark: Sissal, "Hallucination"

-- Finland: Erika Vikman, "Ich Komme"

-- Georgia: Mariam Shengelia, "Freedom"

-- Greece: Klavdia, "Asteromata"

-- Ireland: Emmy, "Laika Party"

-- Israel: Yuval Raphael, "New Day Will Rise"

-- Latvia: Tautumeitas, "Bur Man Laimi"

-- Lithuania: Katarsis, "Tavo akys"

-- Luxembourg: Laura Thorn, "La Poupee Monte Le Son"

-- Malta: Miriana Conte, "Serving"

-- Montenegro: Nina Zizic, "Dobrodosli"

-- Serbia: Princ, "Mila"

The 10 acts qualified from Tuesday's first semifinal:

-- Iceland: Vaeb, "Roa"

-- Netherlands: Claude, "C'est la Vie"

-- Norway: Kyle Alessandro, "Lighter"

-- Poland: Justyna Steczkowska, "Gaja"

-- Portugal: Napa, "Deslocado"

-- San Marino: Gabry Ponte, "Tutta l'Italia"

-- Sweden: KAJ, "Bara Bada Bastu"

-- Ukraine: Ziferblat, "Bird of Pray"

Azerbaijan, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus and Slovenia were eliminated.
